- The Coalitions’ Immediate Response Team appreciates it as a prevention tool.
- The geographic map maintains its confidential quality.
The maps’ real utility now has its own support. The results of the map
on trafficking routes of minor persons 2009 will be presented to the
Immediate Response Team of the Coalición Nacional Contra el Trafico
Ilícito de Migrantes y la Trata de Personas, in a generic and anonymous
manner at the end of this month.
Besides attending the surviving victim of
trafficking in a specific case, the immediate response team also has as
legal mandate the prevention of the crime of trafficking.
The target of the social maps’ presentation through Fundación
Paniamor’s program Incidencia Política is to appreciate the
testimonials provided by key informants in the institutional framework
of the map within the Dirección General de Migración y Extranjería y el
Ministerio de Seguridad Publica.
The Technical Secretary of the Coalition rescued the significance of
the key information contributed by the different binational and
national workshops which are the social maps’ prior matter delivered to
Gobernación y Policía last august.
The teams’ representatives of the Organismo de Investigación Judicial
(OIJ) expressed satisfaction in using this tool in the identification
of trafficking cases.
“We are working together with Fundación Paniamor for some time and this effort should be reflected.”
